Coercive control – an introduction to understanding

£5.00

Our Knowledge Nibbles are an introduction to topics around domestic abuse, trauma and other forms of abuse.  They will give you an overview of the subject in a variety of ways – through theory, statistics, information from other organisations, videos, pre-recorded material and animations.

The cost of each KN is the same as a donation – a low cost so just you can receive access to it and then we can use funds to develop more information on important topics.  Please don’t share your copy of the KN as this small fee helps us fund future development work – we hope you will support us this way.

Coercive control – an overview of what it is and how it impacts.

  • In our Knowledge Nibble about coercive control we are going to:
  • Look at what coercive control is – it’s definition and how it fits into the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
  • Explore what coercive control looks like?
  • Increase awareness of coercive control by examining different types.
  • Talk about who can be subjected to coercive control.
  • Provide examples through videos and lived experience.

We will provide details of other materials you can access after the session, who you can follow and approach for more information, and resources to support you and others.
